The Lifetime of a cigar 2 of 2The waiter, who seems to have been trying to avoid me the whole time (probably praying for me to leave), and who was as ugly as a man can be (and that's a lot), finally found his balls to face me. "Come on, I don't have the whole night", I thought, grinning freakily as I did so. He noticed. Good. He walked his way to my table, passing a group that was laughing quite cheerfully (a nice crew, if you asked me), and now stands right in front of me, very "straight" (I love words that can have more than a meaning). The Lifetime of a cigar 1 of 2I light the cigar, hungrily breathing it while my left hand returns the lighter to the pocket from which it came. Carelessly, I exhale carbon dioxide to the already smoke-filed bar, something I've done lots of times before. No, not that carelessly. After all, I did think about it...but it's probably because I was getting so anxious to light it my right leg had started trembling. Anxiety and need some stupid chemicals made me feel, but about those I don't care. Just breathe. My attention travels elsewhere, to the bar itself. Not a very interesting bar, in my opinion.
